Individual Eligibility for tours
You must be an individual 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 years of age, you must be traveling with a parent or legal guardian.
Your Responsibilities
Before you join the tour, you are responsible for reading all the information related to the tour, including: prices and notices, route description, tour fee inclusion and exclusion, cancellation and refund policy, terms and conditions, and warm tips.
Once you have read and fully understood the information, you can not have any objections after the purchase, and the right of interpretation belongs to C&O Travel.
Privacy and Data Collection
We guarantees and promises that we will not sell, share, or lease your personal data to any organization.
Personal data is only used for processing orders and arranging travel itineraries. The information includes name, address, account address, phone number, email address, and payment information such as credit cards.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that travelers purchase medical, trip cancellation, and baggage insurance. We are not responsible for accidents, including loss of or damage to property, injury, death, etc. We will follow the rules and regulations of airlines, hotels and bus companies. All matters will be resolved in accordance with airline, hotel and bus company regulations.
We believe that all travelers participating in the tour are recognized as being in good health and fit to travel, and if they have any serious illnesses, they must be approved by a professional doctor and issued with a certificate of fitness to travel before they participate in the tour.
The traveler shall be fully responsible for this, and if any accident occurs during the trip, he/she shall not file any lawsuit or claim against our company in any form, and our company shall not be responsible for any legal liability!
Tour Modification and Cancellation
We will try our best to keep the tour schedule as close as possible to the reference itinerary. However, in order to ensure your safety, we reserve the right to change, postpone or cancel the itinerary in rare cases due to weather, traffic, riots and other reasons beyond our control.
In addition, we reserve the right to cancel the tour if the number of participants is insufficient to form a group before departure.
Travelers shall be responsible for any additional costs caused by itinerary delays or cancellations due to uncontrollable reasons.
In order to protect the common interests of the group, we reserve the right to disqualify a traveler from participating in the tour if the traveler interferes with the normal activities of the group, and he/she shall not be entitled to any refund or transfer of the unfinished tour. From the time the traveler leaves the tour, all the behaviors of the traveler have nothing to do with the Company.
If, for personal reasons, the traveler requests to leave the tour on his/her own or in the middle of the tour, our company will try to assist in the arrangements, but will not be responsible for any direct or indirect costs and losses due to delays in transportation or other reasons for not being able to catch up with the pre-arranged itinerary, or for accommodations.
Passport and Visa
Passports and visas are valid proof of your identity in other countries. Please make sure to bring your passport/visa/official passport (invitation letter, etc.) with you on your trip, as different nationalities will have different entry regulations.
We do not keep the personal documents of each traveler and will not be responsible for notification.
The traveler is personally responsible for all costs of delay or change of itinerary due to lack of travel documents.
Each traveler is expected to comply with the laws and regulations issued by the governments of the countries visited, including immigration and customs laws and regulations.
We are not responsible for any fines incurred by you as a result of violating the regulations of the government of the country you are visiting.
At the request of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, effective November 29, 2016, travelers holding a People's Republic of China passport with a 10-year B1, B2, or B1/B2 visa are required to have a valid EVUS registration before traveling to the United States. Travelers must ensure that their EVUS registration is valid before departure. If you are unable to enter or exit the U.S. due to personal reasons, you will be held responsible! We apologize for any inconvenience.
Registration Methods
You can directly register online or through the travel hotline 010-51388388. Before making payment, please confirm with the customer service staff or our sales representatives to confirm the situation of the tour and the tour fee changes.
Payment Methods and Requirements
All of our tour products are priced in USD, travelers can pay the tour fee by placing an order online (WeChat / Alipay) or by remittance.
The itinerary and price on the website of C&O Travel are for reference only, due to holidays and other factors, the price of itinerary may fluctuate, the final price please refer to the offer of our sales representative.
Booking Requirements
A reservation fee must be paid within 48 hours of making a reservation.The booking/reservation is effective subject to the receipt of payment by our company.
Cancellation and Refund Rules
If travelers need to cancel the trip for any reason before departure, please contact our staff as soon as possible. Our company will deal with it according to the actual situation!
(1) Local US tour groups:
For cancellations made more than 30 days before departure, a handling fee of $25 per person will be deducted, and the remaining tour fee will be fully refunded.
For cancellations made 15 - 29 days before the departure date, 30% of the tour fee will be fined.
For cancellations made 7 - 14 days before the departure date, 50% of the tour fee will be fined.
For cancellations made 4 - 6 days before the departure date, 80% of the tour fee will be fined, and the first - night accommodation fee will be deducted.
For cancellations made within 3 days (including 3 days) before the departure date, 100% of the tour fee will be fined.
For those who miss the flight or train and cannot arrive on the departure day, 70% of the tour fee will be fined, and the first - night accommodation fee will be deducted.
If traveler does not join the tour after arriving at the first - stop city, 100% of the tour fee will be fined.
If traveler does not show up on the day of departure and has no contact, it will be regarded as an automatic waiver of the tour, and the tour fee will not be refunded.
(2)For Hawaiian tour and overseas tour departing from China to the US, please refer to the specific regulations in the reference itinerary on our website for cancellation and fine rules.
(3) All air tickets for the US and Canada provided by our company are tour group economy - class tickets. Once issued, they are non - refundable and non - modifiable.If the ticket has to be changed, it will be executed according to the rules of the airline company, and the additional costs incurred will be at the traveler's own expense.
(4)For passenger who participates in the cruise line will be fined according to the rules of the cruise company if the trip is canceled before departure.
(5) Overseas hotels in the US:
For cancellations made 4 - 7 days before the check - in date, a fine of $15 will be imposed.
For cancellations made within 3 days (including 3 days) before the check - in date, the first - night accommodation fee will be fined.
If traveler does not show up on the check - in date and has no contact, it will be regarded as an automatic waiver, and the accommodation fee will not be refunded.
If traveler ends the hotel stay in advance during the reserved check - in period, it will be regarded as an automatic waiver, and the accommodation fee will not be refunded.
Items Included in the Tour Fee
(1) Hotel Standard: The hotels arranged by our company are all standard double - rooms, with two people sharing one room. Single travelers can choose to pay the single - room supplement or share a room with three people. Room allocation is based on the principle of accommodating same - gender guests in one room. If you need to stay in a single room, you should apply when registering and pay the single - room difference. If you are a couple, mother - son/father - daughter (the child needs to occupy a bed), or siblings and need to stay in one room, please inform us in advance. We will arrange for you to stay together if it does not affect the overall tour group's single - room situation; otherwise, the room allocation will be subject to our company's arrangements.
In principle, our company uses the reference hotels listed in the itinerary. In case of special circumstances where these hotels cannot be used, our company has the right to replace them with hotels of the same level.
(2) Sightseeing Vehicles: Our company will arrange sightseeing buses according to the actual situation. Each vehicle is insured with liability insurance ranging from $1.5 million to $5 million.
(3) Sightseeing Tours: Sightseeing tours are subject to the items listed in the itinerary. Experienced Chinese - speaking tour guides will provide services throughout the tour. However, our company reserves the right to adjust the itinerary due to reasons such as weather, time, safety issues, political factors, and natural disasters.
(4) Sightseeing Tickets: Tickets for the tourist attractions listed in the itinerary.
Items Not Included in the Tour Fee
(1) All personal expenses, such as telephone bills, laundry fees, postage fees, excess luggage charges, insurance premiums, and entertainment expenses unrelated to the tour group, such as charges for cable TV (movies), concerts, as well as costs of various beverages and alcoholic drinks.
(2) Tips for tour leaders, tour guides, drivers, and others.
(3) Fees for passports, visas, EVUS registration, etc.
(4) Additional expenses caused by traffic delays, strikes, weather conditions, political factors, wars, riots, natural disasters, or other irresistible factors shall be borne by guests.
(5) Self - paid items for other tourist attractions.
Legal Statement
"This Ordering Notice shall be deemed a supplementary agreement between the traveller and C&O Travel Inc. ("C&O"). This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA, without being inconsistent with any legal provisions thereof. Upon the traveller 's use of our services, the traveller hereby irrevocably consents to the exclusive judicial jurisdiction of the courts of Los Angeles County and the State of California, and agrees to fully comply with all applicable laws and regulations within the jurisdiction of Los Angeles County.
Any provision of this agreement that may be adjudicated invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction shall be interpreted in a manner consistent with the intent of the parties to the maximum extent practicable. The remaining provisions of this agreement shall retain full legal force and effect. The failure of C&O to perform or enforce any provision of this agreement shall not constitute a waiver of any rights or obligations under this agreement."
