Today you will go to the airport to check in for your flight to La Paz, the capital of Bolivia. Due to the time difference, it is recommended to confirm the local time and depart 1 day in advance, the exact time is subject to the arrival time, please choose an early flight to arrive. You will be spending the night on the plane, which may be cold, so it is recommended that you bring warm clothing. We wish you a good night's rest.
Depending on the time of your flight, our guide will pick you up and take you to the famous Valley of the Moon in La Paz, where, if there were no winding asphalt roads and the sound of cars, you would feel as if you had left the Earth and were on the Moon. The Valley of the Moon is 20 kilometers from the city center, and although it's called the ‘Valley of the Moon’ , it's not really a valley. It's a towering forest of sandstone, rich in a variety of minerals that give it a variety of hues, from beige to red to deep purple. The whole area is characterized by incredible surface erosion, surprising rock shapes and much more, creating a strange part of the earth. After dinner, check in to your hotel and relax.
Free pick-up time on the day of the tour is a fixed time (In case of changes, please communicate with customer service staff in advance, other different times for paid pick-up, please know!) Thank you for your understanding.
After picking you up from the airport, we will travel to the Salt Marsh to visit the train graves and korchani to observe the local people harvesting salt by hand and the handmade salt artifacts. During the rainy season, the surface of the salt marshes is covered with water, creating a giant mirror in which the sky is reflected and everything seems to float. Continue to the Salt Marsh and arrive at the "White Beach": a small museum, visit the "Eye of Salt" - the point of exit of the underground water, as well as the salt mounds processed by the people of Korçani and the hexagonal geometric shapes of the salt blocks formed by the salt. Then have lunch in the salt marsh and return to the hotel.
Note: Due to the flooding of the salt marshes during the rainy season, the vehicle will only reach a safe place.
Today we continue to the Uyuni Salt Marsh to take as many photos as we like, and lunch will be near Cactus Island. There will be time to hike to the top of the island and enjoy the view of giant cacti and rock formations made of petrified coral. Take some fun photos with the dazzling white surface of the salt flats in the background. Today you can stay a little later to capture the sunset views and return to Uyuni town.
After breakfast we fly back to La Paz. Special Arrangement: La Paz's unique cable car, as the world's highest capital city, the cable car is not only a means of sightseeing, but also an important public transportation in the city. The cable car ride offers a special view of the city with its red brick roofed houses.
Experience a city tour - Visit Jain Colonial Street, one of the best preserved colonial streets in the city. Continue to Plaza Murillo, where the Cathedral, Government Palace and Congress Building are located, visit the Church of San Francisco (exterior), then stroll through the Witches' Market which opens a window to the mystical world of the Andes, explore the Old Town and learn about the mystical shamanic and witch-doctor culture of the region.
After breakfast at the hotel, free time, then according to the flight time to transfer you to the airport. End the trip and return to your beautiful home!
