### Special Instructions

1. **Regarding Altitude Sickness**

    - The incidence of altitude sickness is related to factors such as the speed of ascending mountains, altitude, length of stay, and physical constitution. Generally speaking, people who have long lived in low - altitude areas may experience altitude sickness of varying degrees when they quickly enter areas above 3,000 meters above sea level. In the face of altitude sickness, the main thing is to keep a relaxed mood. Under normal circumstances, people will adapt to the plateau within a few days, and the symptoms of altitude sickness will be relieved. People with hypertension, heart disease, blood diseases, vascular diseases, asthma, and other conditions that are not suitable for high - altitude areas should enter the plateau with caution. Even those in good health should ensure that they do not have a cold or get inflamed before entering the plateau, otherwise, it will aggravate altitude sickness.

        - **Symptoms (Consider this disease if one or more of the following manifestations occur)**

Headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, palpitations, shortness of breath, chest tightness, chest pain, insomnia, drowsiness, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, numbness in hands and feet, cyanosis of lips and fingers, eyelid or facial swelling, etc.

        - **Prevention**

If you are entering the plateau for the first time or have not entered a high - altitude area in the past two years, it is recommended to take Hongjingtian, Gaoyuan'an, and other drugs to resist altitude sickness as prescribed by a doctor more than 15 days before entering the high - altitude area until you have fully entered the plateau.

        - **Treatment**

In terms of time, mild patients will adapt about 3 days after entering the plateau; moderate patients will adapt in 5 - 7 days; severe patients are recommended to seek medical treatment immediately and leave the high - altitude area. Commonly used drugs for altitude sickness include Sanlietong (headache powder), oxygen - absorbing tablets, American ginseng, bagged or bottled oxygen. Please follow the doctor's advice when purchasing and taking medicines!

2. **Regarding Accommodation**

    - Our agency provides group members with accommodation with relatively high cost - performance in the local area. Nevertheless, team members should be fully prepared mentally. Along the Tibet route, the population is sparse, and the economy is underdeveloped. Most of the hotels along the line have not been rated. Due to the high - altitude area, water and electricity resources are scarce, and there may be situations of water and power outages. Please prepare a flashlight or headlamp in advance. Be prepared not to be able to take a bath, wash your hair, or wash your face. Team members who are particularly fond of cleanliness can bring a sleeping bag for emergencies.

    - In the Tibetan areas, many hotels have incomplete facilities. There are limited supplies of disposable slippers, hair dryers, and disposable hotel supplies. However, our hotels are equipped with slippers, hair dryers, and toiletries.

    - Many local hotels do not have elevators or luggage - carrying services. However, our hotels all have elevator services, so please rest assured.

    - Team members with special accommodation requirements should inform the customer service when registering (such as requiring single - person accommodation throughout the journey, a double - bed room, a triple - bed room, etc.). Determine the cost at the time of registration. It may not be possible to meet the requirements if the accommodation is changed temporarily after joining the group.

    - In principle, the accommodation location cannot be changed without special reasons. If the whole group agrees to change the accommodation location, the original accommodation will not be refunded, and the new accommodation cost will be borne by the team members. The new accommodation costs for the driver and the tour leader will be shared equally by the team members.

3. **Regarding Transportation**

    - **Breakdown**: The entire journey of this trip is on the plateau, with a long distance and complex road conditions. The vehicle is likely to break down. If the vehicle breaks down, please be patient and wait, or work together to solve the problem. The normal solution process is as follows: If the vehicle cannot be repaired within 2 hours, in order not to affect the itinerary, our company will dispatch local vehicles for temporary transfer. The transfer vehicles are mainly small vans, with relatively low comfort. The transfer cost will be paid by the owner of the faulty vehicle; if the leading vehicle breaks down, the cost will be paid by our company until the vehicle is repaired or another vehicle is dispatched as the leading vehicle. Please cooperate with us. If the team member's vehicle cannot be repaired, the team member can change from a self - driving tour to a group tour, take the vehicle provided by our company, and the cost will be adjusted after accounting. You can also withdraw from the itinerary. Our company will refund the ungenerated accommodation fees and entrance tickets, and the contract will be terminated. Specific handling plans will be given according to the actual situation. For team members who refuse to cooperate with the handling, it is regarded as the team member's voluntary abandonment of the itinerary. Our company will refund the ungenerated accommodation fees and entrance tickets, and the contract will be terminated.

    - **Traffic Jam**: The entire journey of this trip is on the plateau, mainly on mountain roads. Traffic jams caused by factors such as mudslides, landslides, rockfalls, bridge breaks, or other situations during the rainy season are normal. Team members should be patient and wait, and prepare food and clothing in advance for all emergency situations.

    - **Night Driving**: In principle, we resolutely do not drive at night. However, due to complex road conditions and weather, there may be full - section traffic restrictions, and occasionally night driving may occur. If a team member refuses to drive at night and needs to stay overnight, the accommodation fee that has been booked on the same day will not be refunded, and the new accommodation fee will be borne by the team member. If the itinerary needs to be extended, the relevant costs of the extended itinerary will also be borne by the team member.

    - **Cost**: If due to traffic jams, traffic control, and other force majeure factors, it is impossible to reach the预定 accommodation point for accommodation, the预定 accommodation fee will not be refunded, and the temporary accommodation fee generated by the team member will be borne by the team member. The accommodation fee for the tour guide will be borne by our company.

4. **Regarding Shopping**

    - There is no shopping arrangement on this route, and the tour leader or driver does not recommend any shopping.

    - During the free - activity period, if team members have no purchase needs, do not bargain with local people, and do not stop and watch for too long. If a team member voluntarily shops, please screen the product quality by yourself. If a transaction intention is reached after bargaining, please make the purchase. If you bargain and then regret not buying, it is likely to cause trouble. The consequences of any conflicts and disputes arising from this shall be borne by the team member.

5. **Regarding Insurance**

    - Our company has purchased travel accident insurance for all participants, but it does not cover various other risks in overseas travel, such as disease insurance, property insurance, etc. Please go to the hospital for a check - up before registering to ensure that you do not have any diseases that are not suitable for high - altitude activities before registering.

    - During the activity, protect your valuables, especially when people and things are separated. Keep them properly. If there is any loss, the team member shall bear the loss.

6. **Regarding Medicine**

    - Please go to a qualified hospital for a comprehensive physical examination before registering to ensure that you do not have any diseases that affect the high - altitude itinerary before registering. The conditions in Tibetan areas are backward, and the medical conditions are poor. If you suddenly get sick on the way, treatment will be more troublesome.

    - Staff such as tour guides, team leaders, drivers, and hotel owners do not have medical qualifications. Please do not rely on the staff for treatment. If you feel unwell, please inform the staff and go to the nearest medical point for treatment.

    - Special statement: Our company does not have medical qualifications. Only bottled oxygen is provided in the vehicle, and no medicine is available. Please prepare enough medicine suitable for yourself in advance.

7. **Force Majeure**

    - If the contract cannot be fulfilled and the journey changes due to force majeure factors (such as landslides, mudslides, bridge and road damage, flight delays, national policies, wars, plagues, traffic control, traffic jams, etc.), our company will not bear relevant compensation.

    - The additional travel expenses caused thereby shall be borne by the team members.

    - The reduced or ungenerated expenses will be refunded to the team members truthfully by our company.

8. **Regarding Photography**

    - When taking photos in Tibetan areas, please respect local management regulations and folk customs. For checkpoints, bridges, military management areas, private houses, temples, religious ceremonies, and other places with shooting taboos, do not take pictures. If you take pictures by force, the camera may be confiscated or more serious consequences may occur. The adverse consequences and impacts caused thereby shall be borne by the team member.

    - In Tibetan scenic spots or near scenic spots, there are usually charges for taking pictures of Tibetans, Tibetan mastiffs, and yaks. It is recommended not to shoot these subjects, or pay readily. When taking pictures of people in pastoral areas, temples, or other places, try to get the consent of others. If refused, stop shooting immediately.

    - During the journey, whether good photos can be taken and what kind of photos can be taken are determined by comprehensive factors such as weather, light, and season. It completely depends on luck. However, the team cannot increase the stay time just because a satisfactory photo has not been taken at a certain scenic spot.

9. **Toilet - using in Tibetan Areas**

    - After entering Tibetan areas, except in gas stations and hotels, all toilets charge fees, generally ranging from 1 - 3 yuan. When encountering a charging toilet, pay the fee actively.

    - In areas without toilets, you can solve personal problems in clean and sheltered places, but you must avoid special places such as rivers, prayer flags, Mani piles, and Bodhi pagodas.

    - In places without shelters, please bring your own umbrellas or other sheltering items for self - sheltering.

10. **Regarding Bathing**

    - It is recommended that you do not take a bath within 3 days after arriving at the plateau. After 3 days, it depends on your physical condition to avoid catching a cold, which may cause or aggravate altitude sickness and affect the entire itinerary.

    - Due to insufficient water and electricity supply in Tibetan areas, the water temperature may be unstable. Before taking a bath, test the water temperature with your hand first and then prepare for bathing to avoid scalding due to over - hot water or catching a cold due to over - cold water.

    - Due to insufficient water and electricity supply in Tibetan areas, there may be a water - stop phenomenon during the bath. Therefore, take a bath quickly. For girls with long hair, it is recommended to wash your hair and take a bath separately to avoid the situation where the hot water has run out or the water has stopped before you finish.

    - Please make sure you can adapt to tough conditions before registering. Our company will not accept any complaints regarding bathing issues.
